Located on the west side of Franklin Street between Virginia and Edward in the right-of-way, this sycamore tree is believed to be
about 300 years old. It can easily seen when driving north on Franklin as it leans out over the road. Surprisingly, it didn't receive
much damage at all when the recent destructive winter storm of October 2006 occured. Parking can be found right next to the tree.
