Located on the west side of Franklin Street between Virginia and Edward in the right-of-way, this sycamore tree is believed to be
about 300 years old. It can easily seen when driving north on Franklin as it leans out over the road. Surprisingly, it didn't receive
much damage at all when the recent destructive winter storm of October 2006 occured. Parking can be found right next to the tree.
Genus/Species: Sycamore
Height: 65
Girth: 12
Method of obtaining height: Sighting along a 45 degree angle
Method of obtaining girth: Tape

A plaque stuck on the tree reads as follows: "The Buffalo Lumber Exchange est. 1880 presents this plaque in commemoration of National
Forest Products Week, October 16 - 22, 1960."
