Description
For over a YEAR...I have been waiting for a storm in which it would light up the night sky in front of my window. Last year we had a gorgeous storm-Sheet lightning for minutes straight. Air to ground strikes, but at that time, I was cameraless for someone had stolen the only lil cam I had. Since a good friend of mine gave me the cam I have now as a b-day gift last Sept, I have been awaiting a storm like the one I witnessed last year. Nada. The few we had, were all "behind" where I stay.
So...As my alarm went off this morning...at 4am...I notice a very bright light. I thought it was my phone, so I somewhat went to ignore it...and plus, I've been super lazy lately, hitting the snooze button a lil too often, lol. I heard the thunder and thought, "Damn, that light was super bright! Maybe, just MaYbE, the lightning is up front..." So I jumped up out of bed, grabbed my Nikon, set up and missed what could have been some AWESOME shots, had I NOT checked my stupid facebook page! Thanx facebook! lol Missed two shots because of that! The intervals were super long, so I was boring rather easily. But I did manage to get this shot, so I'm happy! Hopefully...more is to come!!!

:) Thank You JJ!!! :o) May sound odd, but I was always fascinated with lightning...even as a lil kid. Found it amazing. Hoping we get some more art in the sky soon. :)
